Who is Candix for?
Candix works best for senior engineers (Software, Data, AI/ML, Robotics) in the San Francisco Bay Area, London, or Paris. You can still join if you don't fit these criteria - we just can't guarantee matches yet.
I'm not actively looking for a new job. Should I still create a Candix profile?
Yes. The best time to join is when you're not actively looking, yet open to the right opportunities. Set your preferences once, then we'll only contact you when there's a real match. No browsing, no maintenance, no recruiter spam.
Can my current employer find me on Candix?
No. There are no public profiles on Candix, only direct matching. Your current and previous employers are automatically excluded, plus any companies you add to your blacklist.
Is Candix free for candidates?
Yes, Candix is completely free for candidates.
Does Candix make money from placements?
No. Creating a search and receiving matches is free for companies: we don't take a cut. We only make money from an optional fast-track feature that lets companies skip the queue and connect faster with their matches (doesn't affect match quality).
How can I turn off my profile?
Please contact us at support@candix.com and specify whether you want to pause or delete your profile. If you opt for deletion, we will remove your data from our database within 7 business days, usually within a couple of hours.
